On February 7, 2009, the Geo team attended the Providence Preservation Society’s hosted event – “Unmasked: The Carnivale Winter Bash,” held in the Sharpe building – a historic Providence building undergoing rehabilitation. Instead of travelling to Venice or Rio de Janeiro, over 600 people came to celebrate Carnivale 2009 in Providence. Event highlights included entertainment by the popular bank, Santa Mamba.
