With a Little Help from My Friends – The Library Project (Photos)
For those of you who have been following The Library Project so far, you’re already aware that restoring a town library is a major undertaking. Not only does it require the help of architects and construction aficionados, but also the communal support of friends and family members. This project has been an amazing journey so far, and the best part about it is that it’s all being documented along the way.
So without further ado, here are some of our favorite photos capturing the hardwork, and more importantly, the FUN that goes along with turning a town library into a home.
Let’s begin this photographic journey with an exterior shot of The Rumford Library. It definitely needs a new paint job, that’s for sure.
If you bought a library, what would you do with the excessive number of bookshelves? Would you remove them, or grow your collection of books? We’re going with the latter.

Melanie’s also ready for demo day. ARE YOU?

Can you guess what this will be?
All smiles throughout this project. Very thankful for that.
And finally, here’s a shot of the Geo team on their visit. We’ll caption this as: “Take your Ladies to Work Day”.
And here we leave you with a song by The Beatles titled “With A Little Help From My Friends”.
